What Natural Products Can You Use for Your Car?
There are car owner who just doesn’t mind using branded commercial cleaning products for their vehicles. This is understandable if you don’t know the ingredients of the products you are buying. If you look closely, you will realize that these products contain harmful chemicals.
You don have to use these chemical-based cleaners in order to clean your car. If you want to protect your car paint and other exposed parts, then using natural cleaning products is the best for your car.
Here are some natural alternatives for cleaning your vehicle.
Clean your car body with a mild dish detergent from plants that don’t contain harsh chemicals, and a cotton jersey fabric cloth or natural sea sponge. Most sea sponges contain abrasive sand so make sure to soak and rinse it several times before using. Before washing, rinse your car thoroughly. This way, road dirt, and grit will not go to your cleaning tools.
clean headlights with vinegar and water. Make a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water and spray on your headlights. Wait five minutes for the acid in vinegar to loosen the debris. Use clean cloth to wipe the headlights afterward. For stains, fog, and discoloration, use baking soda and toothpaste and apply with a toothbrush.
Mix equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray on your windshield to make it shine. Use a squeegee for removing the sprayed mixture on the windshield, then rinse with water. Use the same cleaner to clean interior glass surfaces then remove the cleaner with a dampened clean cloth. Finish the job with a dry cloth.
Removing large debris around hubcaps and mudflaps can be done using a soft-bristled brush with small head and long handle. Use a piece of wet aluminum followed by a cloth to remove rust spots from your metal hubcap or rims. Or, you can use a small, soft-bristles metal brush and a mixture of vinegar and baking soda to scrub rust spots gently.
You can deep clean your fabric seat covers and mats with a mild plant-based detergent. The seats should be sprayed with this detergent and then vacuumed so that excess liquid is sucked up. Rinse with clean water and suck up the excess dirt.
Natural coconut oil bar soap for tough stains, ice cube for sticky substances, and boxes of refrigerator baking soda for bad odors can also be used as natural cleaning products for your vehicle.
